Athena

Athena the Cat or the Thief
Athena and her favourite toy, the duck
Daughter of Metis, younger sister of Artemis.
Born: Sometime in June 2015 with 3 other kitties.
Missing: 26 Nov 2016.
Her siblings died for different reasons after Metis disappeared when they're about 2 week old. One died because of illness, one died probably because of dehydration and heat, one died from infection on its leg. Athena appeared to be the strongest one amongst her siblings. She loved jumping around, biting everything, even her own feet. Due to her strength, endurance and survival, she was named after the Greek Goddess Athena.
She was the only cat we've ever had that loves spending time inside the house. That is probably because of we took care of her inside most of the time, to feed her and we cured her from Vitamin D and calcium deficiency, due to most of her time spending inside her cage and the house to avoid our dog Rott - the Rottweiler.
Athena could steal food on our table very quickly, that's why she's also known as "The Thief".
Athena went missing in November 2016.

Kitties of Athena:

Athena gave birth to her first four kitties on 31st March 2016. Athena and Artemis take turns to feed the babies. It's hard to tell their gender yet, so we called them:
Dolphin: because it has black back and white tummy.
Bean: it always curls like a little bean, it looks like The Sisters (Artemis and Athena).
Denny: it's totally black, and in Vietnamese, "black" is "den".
Phuong Phuong: a Vietnamese name for a lot of nail shop; the cat is white with dark grey spots.
Athena, her babies (green labels) and Artemis' babies (red labels)
(Black letters = male, white letters = female, grey letters = unclear)
Dolphin, Athena's daughter
Born: 31 March 2016.
Missing: 28 August 2016.
Dolphin went missing on 28 August 2016. Unknown reason.

Bean, Athena's son
Born: 31 March 2016.
Missing: 6 October 2016.
Bean went missing in October 2016. We don't know what happened to him.

Denny, Athena's daughter
Denny when she's a kitty
Born: 31 March 2016.
Missing: 29 September 2017.

Denny was the smallest of all, and she seemed to be the weakest, yet she's a strong survivor and delivered some kitties.
On 29 September 2017, Denny went missing. It was believed that she was kidnapped.

Phuong Phuong, Athena's son
Born: 31 March 2016.
Missing: 15 September 2017.

On 28 March 2017, Phuong Phuong went missing for unknown reason.
On 7 April 2017, he came back unexpectedly. My mother believes he was kidnapped and the people who did that kept him in custody for a week or so and let him out, assuming he'd got used to their place. It turned out he did not and he still remembers his way home. Good boy. (Sometimes I'm still confused by his name and call him "her").
On 15 September 2017. Phuong Phuong finally could not escape his fate. He was kidnapped again by cat thieves.

Artemis

Artemis the whinging cat
Artemis on her favourite plant pot
Daughter of Metis, elder sister of Athena.
Born: sometime in April 2014.
Missing: 16 August 2016.
She was bullied so many times by Rott - the Rottweiler. He put her in his mouth, didn't bite or tried to, but he really scared Artemis all the time, everyday. Artemis had a difficult time growing up, she was skinny for a long time and was always whinging. During spring 2015, she grew up dramatically, got pregnant and gave birth to her first 4 kitties in September 2015.
She went missing in August 2016, during a stormy week. We didn't know what might happen to her.

Kitties of Artemis:

Eddie, Artemis' son
Born: Sometime in September 2015.
Missing: 7 November 2015.
Eddie was the only survival of Artemis' kids born in September 2015. He was cute, healthy and naughty. I named him after the actor Eddie Redmayne. He went missing on 7 November 2015. The reason remains unknown.

Eddie's sibling 1, Artemis' child

Born: Sometime in September 2015.
Died: 9 October 2015.
It was sick for a while. We found it dead in the cage.

Eddie's sibling 2, Artemis' child

Born: Sometime in September 2015.
Died: 7 October 2015.
Killed by Rott.

Eddie's sibling 3, Artemis' child
Born: Sometime in September 2015.
Died: 4 October 2015.
Reason: we believe the kitty was hungry, climbed to Rott's bowl and he jumped on the poor soul.

Artemis delivered 3 kitties on 23rd Mar 2016. Two orange ones and one dark grey one. We called
them:
Gung: means "ginger" in Vietnamese; it has dark orange back and white tummy.
Zoe: sounds similar to "dau" in Vietnamese, means strawberry.
Cub: it has horizontal stripes like tigers, and this is a little one; its eyes are blue.
Picture of all 7 kitties. Artemis' babies' names are in red, Athena's babies names are in green.

Gung, Artemis' son
Born: 23 March 2016.
Missing: 16 December 2016.
Gung was a very healthy young male cat.
Sometime between 15 Dec and 19 Dec 2016, Gung went missing. My mother was out of town for a cousin's wedding and my (another) cousin went to take care of the cats. He was believed to be kidnapped because he was sterilised. Sterilised male cats don't leave their house to find female cats, so it's very unlikely that Gung was exploring the area. Also, he had been staying home most of the time before became missing.

Zoe, Artemis' son
Born: 23 March 2016.
Died: 30 June 2016.
Zoe was found dead on the ground next to the starfruit tree. It looked like Rott jumped on him because he tried to steal Rott's food.

Cub, Artemis' daughter
Born: 23 March 2016.
Died: 10 June 2016.
She looked similar to Bean (Athena's kid), but Cub had more orange hair, and looked a lot more like her mother Artemis.
Cub was the strongest cat amongst her siblings and cousins (Athena's). She was the first one climbed out of the cage, and she'd had been constantly trying to escape the cat area. However, she didn't seem to be the smartest. We found her wandering around in Rott's cage, the last place she should be in the house.
Unfortunately, Cub died because of sickness in June.
